You can never have too many salad dressing recipes. It’s the end of April and it has been a month of birthdays and food indulgences. A great green salad is in order for this last dinner of the month and this salad dressing is a perfect fit for a healthy salad entree.

Creamy Italian Salad Dressing

Ingredients
- 1/2 C. mayonnaise
- 2 T. lemon juice
- 1 small shallot (finely minced)
- 1 medium clove garlic (minced)
- 2 T. minced fresh basil
- 2 t. minced fresh oregano
- 1/2 t. red pepper flakes
- 6 T. extra-virgin olive oil
Directions
- Step 1 Combine all the ingredients in a jar with a tight fitting lid. Shade the jar to emulsify.
